** Change on the Horizon **
I’ve been watching the forecast models over the last several days, they’ve been consistent as confidence builds to bring a change to our fair weather pattern by next weekend with a return to rain and sierra Snow.
In the meantime, a weak weather system will move into Nor Cal overnight into Monday. It may bring a chance for a few showers to the northern mountains, leaving us with a few clouds. High pressure will build over Nor Cal Tuesday into Wednesday for a return of mild weather for the foothills with highs in the 50’s to around 60.
High pressure will weaken Thursday into Friday allowing a series of weather systems to move into the area over the weekend. As it’s looking right now, we may see rain as soon as sometime Saturday with higher elevation Sierra snow.
We’ll fine-tune the forecast we get closer to next weekend.
